256 Tomes Quest Reward

Hello there,

I just finished the 256 tomes quest and I'm pretty sure it said my reward was approx 1500 gold.

I had about 400 gold in my bag by the time I turned the quest in. I spoke to Lauryn to end the quest and did not get 1500 gold. Its not a massive deal because i have cash in the bank, but still it could do with being looked at.

I'm not sure I'll have the patience to get 1024 tomes without getting any XP so I doubt I'll see if the next one works or not.

I have one character that is about to finish up the 256 tomes quest. I'll make sure to check whether the reward comes through.

The reward was 128 gold (maybe you added a zero to it in your head?), and I think that's the way it's meant to be since the find a zillion tomes quest that comes after only has a 512 gold reward. I definitely think these longer quests need better rewards.

I'm a level 45 warrior and have done all of the quests so far, including the 1024 tomes. For all the time and effort we put into the tomes quests we should at least receive a better reward for it. Being lvl 45 and playing for at least 2 hours a day, it took me about 3 or 4 days to finish the 1024 tomes. Don't give up on the tomes quests. I hope that the new quests, whenever they come out, will have better rewards and shorter than the tome quests.

I finished the first Tomes quest, then when it got to 256, I kinda laid it off, I think I have 50 ;)

I was doing the 1024 tomes quest over the weekend and so far I have gotten four pinks. What could the poor gal who has been driven from her home by Brom Dandy and his roughnecks possibly give me that could equal that? I think that every time I beat down Brom Dandy I have about a 1 in 20 shot at a pink. Just take the quest, and then go farming for pinks in the upper level of Balefort. You'll get your reward.
