I no longer consider IQ a legit measure of intelligence but the last time I checked, I was 13 and at about 160 or so.

IQ is a useless measure of what you know. How you use what you know is real intelligence IMHO.

I've never done an IQ test haha. From my academic work I'd guess I'm above average, but I don't even know what a good IQ is and how an IQ is worked out. Do you just do a test? If its a test, that's unfair, because on another day, with different questions a person could achieve a much higher IQ if they knew slightly more about a certain subject. If, in the opposite case, the questions are always the same, you ask a friend to go first and tell you the questions. Then you google the answers and go in to the test and get a perfect score.

the questions of the test reveil the chosen values of the test makers. i cant read Charles Dickens, but i can translate the graphiti in the allyway. I went out of my way to learn couple ways to start a fire w/o matches, cant do algebra and havent seen a straight line sence.

for bonus points im leaving the spelling errors.

Yeah the IQ test is a whole lot of questions regarding logic [no particular subjects or anything like that] but completely leaves out the artistic side of intelligence and artistic geniuses can score remarkably low on that test.

IQ is mental over chronological age x 100. The IQ score is standardized and the average is 100. MENSA is 130 or above. Einsteins IQ was a bit over 150. There was also a boy with savant syndrome in math. His IQ was just about 152 I believe. Highest ever was 228 but she also had savant syndrome. The IQ test is not a valid test, but I do believe it has somewhat of an evaluation of how fast you learn and pick up on things. Psychologists use this test for students who need the extra help in school so it has to have some sort of validity in measuring something.

Piano if your score was really that high you are more than 4 deviations above the normal IQ. You must be insanely fast at picking up on patterns, visuals, and memorizing.

When I'm paying attention or the subject has my interest, yes, but flaw of the test. XD I love taking IQ tests but it doesn't apply well to homework I've lost interest in D:

As long as the IQ number is above your age it is safe to assume that everything is fine.

Intelligence Quotients mean nothing if you can't apply those smarts in the real world.

Intelligence will get you no where. It's how you use what you have even if it's not a lot. Just look at Forest Grump ;)
