I only know 1 bird combo. Shattering Scream+Blast Shot= Cruel blast.

It totally depend on what class you are fighting and even then what subclass they are ie: dex mage, str bird, ect.
A simple that works for most classes IMO is:
Break, blind, wall, root, cruel blast, avian, repulse....
Rinse and repeat...
But with mages ypu will want to blind, repulse first and pray that drain life misses. It really comes down to experimenting to find out what works best for you :)
