View Full Version : WTF is up with ancient swamp?

Alright guys this is really getting me mad. I'm level 36 and Still I get my butt whooped whenever I go into the ancient swamps. Is it desighned for higher levels or what?

I found that when I was playing through that mission very few people actually did anything constructive as far as debuffing monsters was concerned. That makes a night and day difference. I can usually carry a team as an archer with my debuffs, even with the majority of the people playing very poorly, but I can only imagine how fast and smooth it would go if people used all of their skills to their team's advantage.

Blacklight, are you making sure to debuff the opponents? I find Break Armor makes them a bit more squishy.
Are you completly sure about that?

If you find a trident you can use, then you can break armor ;)

Then invite an archer friend? Break armor is the best solution fior Archers, or Nightmare and Lightning if you're a mage.
How about Crushing Blow? it decreases their dodge. or, there's always Taunt, but that only reduces armor by 16 max. Throw in a Hell scream, and maybe you will get more damage?

Yeah, tridents, pitchforks and spears have a break armor proc. Darkblades have a nightmare proc which can also be quite effective.

i too have been wondering what level i should be at when i attempt the swamp because it owns me over and over and over and im lvl 30

Ya I know it's soo hard. But you can get really cool stuff like voodoo dolls and zombie saint sheilds.
