AL has been live for years and there are tones of different banners available,
some of them from drop, or tier rewards for events, but those ones obtained
from leaderboard are arguably the most special of them all as it takes a lot of
hardwork and gold investments
Though with the ever increasing varieties available, comes a problem
it's just hard to tell which ones are lb which ones arent
Like look at those banners

Can you tell which ones are lb? The last 3 are just normal reward from event,
even bronze tier, but they look so much better than the first 3
I think a change is necessary for those lb banner to have something noticeable
so if one look closely, they can tell its a lb banner, something like this will do

Have a small coin or badge stuck somewhere on the banner, with a symbol for
the corresponding event, and the year it was received. This will be huge for those
players that aren't a part of the event to know that, this guy, put in a lot of work for it

Spider banner isn't from bronze, the golden coin one was created by "Java" during the player banner design event.
Just giving examples, they are not lb and easy to get in general is what im trying to refer to

Okay, but isn’t it enough that the banner looks dope? Like, why would you want everyone to know that it’s from leaderboard, most people who play frequently will know that by themselves, and the ones who don’t, probably don’t give a f where you obtained it

I can already feel this thread become a drama feed,
i love criticism but lets keep the main argument simple,
No im not saying their design sucks, im just trying to make them easier to identify,
to clear a section, specifically for lb banner in this ever chaotic banner variation system
and give them the attention that they deserve
So, Does adding a stamp representing event and achieved year
Interest any of you by:
first, making it easier to identify lb banner for everyone so you will get extra respect for what u did
second, a memorable signature of which year this was achieved to say that ur og or whatever

Imo lb banners are good as they are, is true that some designs are underwhelming or could have been much better addind some kind of particle effect.
So rather than specify they come from an event lb I would prefer if they put that little touch that would make some banners pretty dope.
For example, Halloween banner 2020 would have looked much better had it had a green particle effect coming from the parchment, or the 2020-21 winter lb would have been way better if had some snowflake or myst added to the banner.
In the end it all comes to the likes of each player so its just normal that some non-lb banners look more appealing for some players rather than some actual lb banners.

2nd banner looks normal tier reward banner but it got an effect, when moving it drops gold

There's been many cloth-on-a-stick banners both for lb and event tiers lately. Maybe if STS refrained from making those, it'd be cool.
One example is this bad boy (just a bronze tier banner but it's still ugly as hell)

In general lb banners have been looking less and less cool, they have given us flat paper banners recently. If they looked better there wouldn’t be a reason to add a badge thingy to them. You would just be able to tell they are lb, kinda like the top 10 temple event banners.

It would be a lot of work for devs to go through all the banners to do that. I'm sure even they don't remember which banner was from what event or year. It's a great idea though.

I got bloodgrub banner (bronze tier) and elon red banner (bronze tier) and this two are way better designs than this lol hope sts will change of phase also vanity weapons getting tiny and tiny every event :D
