Description:
PVP Tourney time! We are hosting a 1v1 PVP tourney for PL! Read below for more information! There are only 40 spots open so hurry up and sign up asap!

**Prizes**
1st Place: 500 Platinum and a Guardian Dragons Pack
2nd Place: 200 Platinum and a Dragon pet of choice of choice or Bats
3rd Place: 150 Platinum and a Dragon pet of choice
4th Place: 100 Platinum and a Minotaur pet of choice

Here are the rules:
1) Keep it clean.
2) When signing up, you need to list the best times when you can play your matches
3) Beginning the match before both sides are accounted for and agree to go will void the match.
4) Games must be passworded and agreed to be official by both parties.
5) All games need to be done by the end of the weekend. No - shows are up for disqualification.
6) Only lvl 10 characters may be used.
7) Quitting an official match once started will result in a forfeit, thus a loss for that match.
8) Leaving to avoid a death or refresh your hp/mana is NOT permitted and will result in a voided match and if continued will lead to a disqualification.
9) All matches must be played on the same map
10) It will be your responsibility to organize/find and execute matches.
11) All classes, builds, types are allowed
12) Any exploitation of ANY known or unknown cheat, hack, glitch, or bug will result in immediate disqualification and possible ban.
13) The use of macros (chrome) is not allowed. But you may use a computer.
14) Allowing anyone to play on your account during a sanctioned match is strictly prohibited and agaisnt tos. Any person found playing for someone else will be disqualified IMMEDIATELY.
15) You must stick with the same class throughout the tournament. For ex: if you are a mage and have all three classes you can not use a warrior if you are entered as a mage.
16) You must kill your opponent 5 times and submit the number of your kills taking a screenshot, to show you won and to move onto the next round.

What is very strange about this tourney, is that there is no clear date on when it starts. The rules say all matches must be done before the end of the weekend, but people can enter the tourney until the 3rd of june...

I believe he means that the matches should be played before the end of the coming weekend.

If you received a bye you are automatically in round 2 and should start trying to match your round 2 opponent if they have a bye also.

Exactly. For a tourney to work out the number of players always has to be set up for a number of players which can be divided by 2 until exactly one is left. So the system allows a tourney of any size (up to 64) but it will always round from 2-4-8-16-32-64.

(2^1, 2^2, 2^3, 2^4, 2^5 and 2^6) for fancy exponent people.

Anyone know why/if google chrome is banned from the tourney? Someone told me its because the ping is amazing;however, my iPad gets ping nearly as good as chrome. In the rules it says "computers are allowed", so im not really sure whether they are or are not banned... please answer! D:

Sorry for this error guys. The brackets were paired incorrectly so some players had an opponent that said "Bye." I've moved each player ahead, who was paired with the "Bye." I understand this may be unfair for some of the other players, but we'll hold another tournament right after with the correct amount of brackets.

The list has been updated and everyone should know who their first opponent is. Please get in contact with your opponent, to complete your match.

Its impossible to make it fair with 40 players. Also I didnt skip the 1st round, but we're just unlucky. And it goes random so they dont have favourites... It should be 32 players.

I am hoping that he means during a fight. It's usually accepted to leave and re-enter instead of the slow regen of low-level twinks...

I think both players can reach an accord if they ask each other if it's ok to leave after each fight, then it shouldn't be a problem anyways.

Quick thing about the Dragn Vanity Sets. In order to use one that gives stats you need the lootable gold set, which requires level one as of now. This has been confirmed as a glitch. So... Gold vanity set qualifies as "exploitation of any known or unknown cheat, hack glitch..." so if you do use, it will "result in immeditate disqualification and possible ban." So dragon vanity sets are NOT ALLOWED! Use them and face the consequences!

At the beginning of the match, ask your opponent whether they have a problem with you leaving in between fights to get hp back. If neither of you have an issue with it, there is no reason you should not.

I forgot what frustrates me about these contests. You spend so much energy trying to get a hold of the other person once you finally fight you just want to get it over with it. Hmm, maybe it is a strategy, they start kiting before the match even starts ;).


(nothing against Dynastu yet, just have had bad luck, like I am east coast US and was against someone in Australia in the first ever twink tourney, and my Mage match in the tournament of corruption got pushed back so far I had to try it at the in-laws over Christmas... Yeah, that went well ;) ).

There needs to be one without founders, it's unfair for newer players, why should old players who already have what they need get to win more? I think it should be new people (people without founders) or just make it no founders it'd be much more fair and would give newer players a chance where as the way this is the oldies will always come out on top which isn't very fun since theyve had a long time to get very thing they need already so why not let other people have a chance? That's just my two cents....

Eh, the Founder's Helm part is sort of stretching it.
Especially at low twink levels, where a single point of DPS or armor or even critical could result in a loss, unlike the so many variables in high level PvP.
Pretty sure the winner will have a Founder's Helm.

Also, Sam said that the Mitas Set (currently level 1) will be changed to level 60.
So you cannot even use it.

And between the rules and the bracket, there is the option to submit a loss. If you do that, the other player will advance to the next round. For obvious reasons, you can not submit a win, so if you win, you either need the other player to do that, or to submit a screenshot and Delphina will advance you.
