Yeah, it seems to be random.

its not random, you just have to clear the place first... hes "hard" in that i soloed him easily with a elixer.

Once you get to the castle, he respawns from what I have seen in the front room, at the first giant brown door thing, then to the left, down the hall, and when you hit the corner. It's weird though, the two of them killed out whole party of level 45s before when knew it, then I went on and soloed him, I didn't quite understand that.

we were just running around killing stuff, and he spwned for us 5 times in like 15 minutes.

Really we rushed it and he respawned twice. :/

yeah, and he never spwned at the same time, always random parts...

I've heard that, but I don't think it's true. I was in with Royce yesterday and for half an hour we cleared trash but it didn't spawn. Then I went in solo in the evning and he was there and kicked my butt. So I found Furrawn and Habanerobird and we went in and he was there waiting for us. After we killed him, he respawned almost instantaneously. Maybe five seconds. So I think the respawn number must be 1 to 1000 seconds?

But let's all put everything we know about him here and after a few days we'll have him all figured out. :)

Has anyone gotten any good drops from him? Not I.

Went in w hubby & Snakespeare and Vynnrx (sp?) was there immediately. We killed him and he reappeared in the same exact place right after...

All the posts here have different experiences so the new boss must spawn randomly.

First time I was there I was killing stuff for 20 minutes and nothing second time I went as soon as walked in side the hall he popped than he popped a minute later in the long hall on the left, so it's really weird

As you guys have seen it's not easy to pin down where Vyxnaar is going to spawn... and he has a very rare chance of dropping some really rare helmets.

More grays: gem blades, platinum bow... etc.

And I have found his spawn point, I have seen him spawn there 3 times. Go straight in until you have to turn. Go left, then right, then down past the left doorway to the corner with the wall sconce and the skeleton corpse. If he kills you, you can wait and watch him pace around. He doesn't stray from the corner.
