Snowball has freeze root proc whic can combine with stomp for a combo which is why people use it

Yes i agree with Necro, you can use both but going against someone with founders, usually 10's do, i would use snowball plus the freeze/stomp combo for extra damage. Against other bears i would use talon. Against mages use the snowball combo too.

Why? 3 Stomp only gives +10 Damage and +2m area.

Its different for everyone :P. It is all about preference. Try both set ups out before you get into your first fight in the tourney.

In low lvl bear PvP, whoever stomps first generally wins, so that +2m can be the deciding factor in a battle

Wounded use 6rage 3stomp like Keaton said but when u stomp run away until u get stomp back

I'm pretty sure there's an option to turn off the automatic skill distribution.

you can just skip the tutorial. it wont give you vengful slash unless your in the tutorial (i think)

I use talon for same level, snowballs against higher levels. It atleast gives you chance to kill a higher lvl with some luck. With talons against same level you don't need to rely on as much luck. And talon vs higher level is most of the time a guarantee death, unless your opponent lags, messes up, or something like that. :)
