There are people from many different backgrounds in the game, and some of the people aren’t native English speakers or fluent. So I would like to suggest STS to add a feature where someone writes something in their language, and it automatically translates to English, vice verse, this way people from all over will be able to understand each other.

I agree, as many people tend not to help a person if they cannot understand their language...would be a nice feature. Especially running maps where things could be explained to a new person

The game has a limited bandwidth for info as it is, I can’t imagine how much space it would take up to add many dictionaries worth of info

then how many languages, and which ones won’t be added, & how would that affect the game?

Better to use google translate imho

Nah, super easy to open google translate in other tab it takes like 2 seconds longer than a translate feature would. Let devs focus on other stuff

but i use pc...and as a gm, i help a lot of guildies, and it is not that easy to do as i have to leave screens to do that..so i need to type in what they say..wait for reply, and then translate what i need to say back. The whole thing gets very frustrating in the middle of a run when they are firing off questions, and I ask them to go slow, and one at a time, and I know they are excited to have someone helping them and getting information finally

There wouldn't be such problems had they added different languages to the game when it started to grow.
Highly doubt they'll add a mechanism that would take an insane amount of data to implent several different dictionaries to translate into English.
Would be helpful tho.
