Put the castform piece on hold and started this ^. I had to get the original design of the two sketched out first, to work as a template for my own design. In short, I'm working off of the Nintendo version and throwing in my own add ons/taking stuff off without overkill (keeping the original design present) because less is more in this case, just as I did with blastoise.

I have a pokemon emulator on my phone and my squirtle's name is Spamtonio :p
Cinderquill would be a nice one to draw. That and a squirtle standing on beaten up bug hunters. Do you know how annoying bug hunters are in Pokemon? You probably do but I just blow them away. :p

It warms my heart to say that this is the final work in progress before the grand finale

It'll be done on an 1920 x 1408px HD canvas, as opposed to the 960x704px SD canvas all of the pieces in this thread were done on. It should be up by this time tomorrow, EST, but for now, here's raikou :)

Because I'm putting them altogether in a final piece :) I drew them all separately so I wouldnt be too overwhelmed. The backgrounds on each of them are temporary ones I made in a minute or two, to complement each of the beasts and make the presentable separately.

Sorry rinz, but I had to do this!

Mewtwo and genesect are two pokemon that were engineered/altered by two different antagonist teams in their respective games (team rocket and team plasma). They're the only two Pokemon like that, so I had to make a pic featuring them both. I was planning on keeping the lines, to give it a ken sugimori style look, but I might just do away with them in the end
