View Full Version : Prometheus Movie Event Thought

Well, it's almost here. I've been seeing the commercials, and I am interested in maybe even buying an overpriced movie ticket to watch it in a theater lol!

I am wondering on the event. Will it be more than some store vanities? Regardless, I noticed from the commercial for the movie the most prominent item, the bubble helmet.
I wanted to point out we do have the vintage space helmet, and then snowglobe from the winter festival and we don't really need another bubble helmet. There are some cool looking dark spacesuits though that would be sweet! I can't wait to see what sts is cooking up for the event. :)

Prometheus is already out in the UK Cinamas, watched it the other Day. Amazing film. There are tons of stuff they can use for vanities.
But most of all I'm hoping they will use the Prometheus flame throwers as a vanity for our weapons slot.

I will definitely go to the movie - such films are to be seen widest screen possible!

And yes, vintage helm is perfectly fit for that event

I hope STS will bring up some new leg vanity or those suits u r talking about, Killa

But the best possible way is to bring on New Event Map (like it was done for new year event)

This new map could be themed with film story - as if we are those dudes who found 'something' and so we have to deal with new enemies..

This sidekick could liven up our bases))

Forget vanity flamethrower, make it an actual weapon.

Doesnt this movie have something to do with the Alien movies? If so i can see alot of stuff they could do.

It's a prequel in spirit. The studio hasn't came right out and said it, but I'm fairly sure it details the events leading up to the crashed ship found on LV-426. I shall find out in a few days. :D

I am definitely hoping for something other than a helmet. The flamethrowers sound like an awesome possibilty!

Yes its .... I won't spoil the end of the film for you all. But you will love it!
Its a real rewarding film to watch.

Wait wait wait, Promethius is related to Starcraft?

I haven't done much looking into the movie cuz, well quite honestly it looks a little cheesy to me. *ducks for cover*

Nah, not StarCraft. It's a prequel of Aliens series.. Though the plot was rewritten to feel as a separate movie

Ah a reboot. Probly won't spend the money for theaters, i'll give it a watch though.

Trust me. It's worth seeing on the Big screen.

And its definitely not a reboot. Get to the end scene and you'll know what I mean.

Doubtful as Bishop wasn't built when the movie takes place.

2Weeks more, sam joined us in base n i asked him about prometheus event, he told that client is out, just need apples approval, would take like 2-3weeks :-]

Edit: am not sure if he meant event update or lvl cap update,
But i assume that lvl cap would take more time

If they're pending a client update approval from apple my guess is its a cap update. I'm not sure, but the smaller updates, like the movie events and such, are pushed directly from the STS servers, I believe. Too bad you didn't snag a screen cap of this convo.
