I am going on work experience at the end of June. Do you have Marks and Spencers in the US? I'm sure you do. I am in the UK, so that's why I ask.

I am spending a week (5 days) there learning what jobs are and what you need to do there. Looks forward to it! Plus I miss a week of school :).

So you can kinda say I don't have a full job yet.

I might do a paper round like my friend soon. I am just about old enough to and it gets around 28$ a week. It might not sound like much, but it's good starter money for someone like me. What's it like being doing the paper round? Did any of you do that when you were younger?

I did when I was younger but it was not worth it at all because of the distance between houses. You want your route to be densely populated...

I personally work at our local furniture store until I have my military service coming up on July.

I am sort of allarounder, sometimes I am just selling the furnitures but sometimes I am managing our storage and so fort.

Even though it is sometimes harsh to be lifting heavy furnitures all day around at least I never get bored what I do since everyday is a different day :).

A local phone shop (my carrier which im too embarrassed to name). My job is just to sit there all day on my laptop or phone. Sometimes collecting someones phone pay but my partner mainly does the customer service even though were supposed to do it together. 9.40$ an hour is good pay for sitting around doing nothing. Still in high school so its good enough for me. Plus employee discounts.

Well, when I was younger I scooped poo and washed pee at a dog kennel. Can't be worse than that.

Currently finishing up my 4th year of business administration throughout the summer. I bought into a mobile sign franchise 2 years ago when I was 21, it has since paid off all of my schooling, and then some. I'm looking to sell now because as of August I will have graduated and will be ready to move on - after a trip to Europe of course.

This time next year I will hope to be holding a position as a sales associate for either Xerox or Microsoft, workin on up the corporate ladder and looking for opportunity wherever it may be.

Purchasing Agent. Actual title is Senior Buyer. I source/negotiate/purchase raw material for manufacturing.

@jaytb: I have purchased and used 3 ERP systems. No SAP, but I know of what you speak.

The skills I have learned over the years should make me an expert merchant. But after spending all day in the worlds CS, I find the CS in PL more like work than play.

Coming from a family that isn't as fortunate as others, I'm unbelievably fortunate to have moved up with the varsity team at my High School. I've been offered many scholarships which have opened up some doors in my life I thought would never be possible; all from soccer. I really hope I can find a good job one day.

And cause of the large amount of spare time I got left, I help out old people (senior folks) with some old school games and entertainment from way back then.
And besides being volunteer for the elderly im also a volunteer for kids in a daycare, right before they got to get to school or right after they come from school.

And the time I got left besides the (jobs) I try to make my girlfriends life hell with our baby >:)

Btw, great way to know people behind there characters :)
