View Full Version : Lv. 50 Sentinel Set vs Lv. 51 Raid Roach set
I'm familiar with the sentinel shotgun set. It worked very well on my bear. Fast forward... My bird is lvl. 50 now and I have the Shotgun set ready to use., smmmma However, I was thinking if Lvl. 51 raid roach would be better option also will I get sparkles and set bonus on the lvl. 51 set?

You will not get the sparkles on a 51 raid set. The off-level bonuses weren't introduced until nuri's.
the death set works very well and is comparable to Raid 51, however you might prefer the range of 51 raid xbow

No, you won't get sparkles as said by Ixi, but 51 opens up a whole new world of Sewer items, most of which are extremely powerful, and the oranges/greens aren't half as bad either. The sentinel set is good if you can use it right, I absolutely love it. But the only thing I don't like about it is the low dodge %

Haha oops. For some reason I thought it had shorter range. Do all guns have 13m or just the death shotgun?

Sentinel actually got low crit and high dodge compared to raid roach..
I came to the conclusiin that, Raid Roach is good for offensive play style but the user will be pwned in long fight, coz of low dodge, armor and no mana regen. Time to unstash my Sentinel Set. Yummmm....

Yeah I was comparing the Sent to my 51 stuff for dodge (I don't use raid). My bad :P, thanks Jay for posting pics. But yeah, I would say Sentinel is better than Raid.

Yeah, I have used both sets before.
What I can say:
RR 51 is mostly for really quick fights, such as 1v1.
Sentinel's Set is mostly for CTF and other long-lasting fights. The reason being is that Sentinel's set is mostly defensive, having bonuses on the regen, dodge, and armor side.
The RR set is much more offensive, having advantages to DPS, Crit, Hit, and Damage.
