It would be good if in-between ranks were added ofc with more stuff unlocked with each rank, not only just 2 ranks.
And since a mirror npc was added to the town this could be a good chance to add skin colors, new faces and hairstyles as players advance through these ranks.
I have yet to see what the token vendor has to offer but these ranks could add stuff to the vendor as well, such as crafting slots, furniture slots, recipe to craft stronger legendary-mythic weapons etc.
