I think many people, especially 45s, get bombarded with friends requests from strangers with no prior chat/conversation taking place. But often they are from low lvl newbies that just want to pester 45s in getting levels so I'd like to request an enhancement so that you can see the lvl of the person requesting to be friends on the Pending screen. Currently you can only see their name:

What does their level have to do with it? You either know them or you don't.

What does their level have to do with it? You either know them or you don't.Do you only add people you know? I know I and many other don't. I would consider adding friends to get to know people but often if they are just lvl 1s and 2s, I'd rather chat to them first to find out what they are about instead just blindly adding them to find they have no real interest and then having to trawl through my friends list to remove them later.

I accept people i've played a good instance with.....I deny all requests I get in town. Period.

So you'd blindly add a level 45 but not a level 1?

I would. more friends = more invites

So you'd blindly add a level 45 but not a level 1?I would add any who was above lvl 13 as to be that shows some level of commitment to the game. I would not add anyone lvl 13 or below without chatting to them first, or knowing them as being an alternate character for someone I was already a friend of.

heh, fair enough. Each to their own.

People earn my friendship through actions, not by chatting me up in town.

Whatever floats your boat eh?

Well at least three of us like the idea - so it floats our boat! Perhaps you are one of these people that just boot people without hesitation (another one of my bug bears... off topic, but if you don't want someone in your game, ask them nicely to leave and give them the chance to before booting them. An immediate boot is so rude! Rant over...). ;)

But seriously, I'm very keep to help people so I'm happy for a newer lvl 13+ player that I've never spoken to before to ask for help if they see me logged on via their friends list. If I can, I will. If I can't, I'll tell 'em I can't. It's a bit off-topic, but it's related to how I play I guess. Friend me all you want, if I can help, I will.

Not as rude as guessing what sort of person I am. ;)

No.

The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 10 character

This will be in 1.4 (class, level, online state, and message button for pending friends).

Nice, my reason is that I happy to accept friend requests, but I have had plenty of low levels who never message you or chat to you after that, but drop in to locked games and leech.

I rather just have a decline all button. It would be easier for me because I get request every time I log onto my 45's ...
I really don't care what level they are at all, I still would like to decline them unless I get to know them :)
So I rather just have a decline all button :)
Thanks.

Well I'm sure they could add a decline all button too, if we asked nicely... but please, if the devs do, make sure there's a confirmation "are you sure, yes or no" in case someone presses by mistake.
