Hilarious to see someone with such a narrowed view of the society putting himself on a moral high ground as if he himself has demonstrated any act of applaudable actions besides disregarding possibly truly-genuine individuals.

Chances are, not everyone is as selfish as you make them to be. Those who are well off, have extra time aside from work, have a higher tendency to help people whenever they can.

To be fair, I don't think anyone could tell if your intention was to joke or insult or simply fulfilling the request of the OP who might actually be joking.

I didn’t laugh at the joke, but there is no way the people defending the OP didn’t find this even a bit funny. A post telling someone to ask you a question, while they asked a question is pretty funny. A joke or 2 may have been posted, but no insults were thrown until you guys fuel and fire by defending someone who didn’t need to be defended.
