If your device is at this site under the ARMv7 section, then your device is compatible... If your device is not on the list, and you believe it is an ARMv7 device, add a comment and I will add it here.

Did you check the link? Every single one of the arm7 devices listed there should be able to run AL with no issues. Unless it's a Samsung and has the same crappy sound drivers that cause issue with other STS games.

IPad 1st gen runs Dark Legends smoothly, Ill test AL with it, I'm pretty sure my iPad 2 can make it ^.^

Processor speed isn't the only thing you need to consider. Android version and opengl version are also considerations. In fact, I don't recall anywhere that's states a minimum processor speed.

Idk if thats true or not.

Discussing jailbreaking/rooting on the forums is discouraged, and rightly so, as you don't need a bunch of noobs going in and messing around with system files, deleting something, then trying to lay the blame on STS. Actually doing it is not a violation of any rules. Except maybe Apples's rules. Still, if I drop $500+ on a piece of electronics, I'll dang well do whatever I want with it.

I would assume no better than it would on any other device that meets the system reqs. Except for the sound driver issues with Samsung devices, I don't recall any compatibility issues with any games produced by STS.

Apparently, opengl version isn't as big an issue as I thought. Just checked my version, and I'm on 1.1 but run DL just fine. *shrugs*
