Some others of my friends got the same thing.
Also yesterday I got logged out from server at a random time. Never happend before, I think it's just a lil bug.

Mine also says, "Down for maintenance..."
However, SL says, "The servers are up and you have an Internet connection, but for some reason you can't log in!..."

sometimes it just randomly says that for me... well maybe not sometimes... but it happens

I bet you were just having some internet issues. I've had that too. My internet was messed up and when I tried to log on, I got the server down message. In reality, I think its just a generic message when you can't log on.
I went on the forums to see what the update was, didn't find anything and realized that most likely it was just my router, which it turned out to be.

It wouldn't have been Humania anyway. They won't release at 4:00 p.m. their time. They like to have the full dev crew in their offices for the release.

Mine's still down and has been for the past 3 days. I'm using a different Internet connection than I usually do, so I'll just have to check again in a few days to see if it works.
