View Full Version : SUGGESTION - PVP (HONOR) Achievements increased

First let me start by saying that I put this thread here and no in suggestions feedback topic because it directly effects PVP and I wanted all my fellow pvpers to read and give there feedback. If it needs to be moved please do so :)

Hey Legends,
So I like most are loving the acheivments aspect of the game! I brings new challenges and a new twist to what A lot have been grinding away at for 2yrs now. I think some of the acheivments are great and prove to be challenging enough as is or TBH couldnt be changed (ie: Completing all levels in each map) One area that I would like to see not so much changed but updated is the PVP (HONOR) achievments. Right now the requirments for unlocking these is by all means low. I can see how this was ported over from DL and with DL being a new game I can see how it worked there. Even tho most were able to accomplish all these within the first day of PVP in DL. With PL being a game that is 2+ yrs old I think it only right that our achievments be scaled to that level. I am not so much asking that the current achievments be made harder as I am suggesting that they be expanded to encompass a larger scale.

Here are current requirements and my suggestions:

PVP:
one down = requires 1 kill in pvp SUGGESTION: 100
taste of glory = requires 5 kills in pvp SUGGESTION: 500
call to arms = requires 10 kills in pvp SUGGESTION: 1000

gladiator = requires 25 kills in pvp SUGGESTION: 2500
champion = requires 100 kills in pvp SUGGESTION: 5000
overlord = requires 1000 kills in pvp SUGGESTION: 10000

CTF:
ready for more = requires 1 kills in ctf SUGGESTION: 100
slayer = requires 5 kills in ctf SUGGESTION: 1000

I think about 90% of the PL population has less than 100 kills in PvP, if they have kills at all.

I would be in favor of adding tiers over increasing the requirements for the current ones. That makes it to where those who don't pvp as often can still grab some achievements.

+1 old players has been playing pvp/ctf for awhile overhere, so about some people getting over 1000+ kills. This also showsoff your honor to newbies :P

Please no :p I'm like 80 kills away from the 1k kills achievement now haha. In all seriousness, theY are a little low. The pve ones go up to 35k kills

Its fine the way it is maybe make it 3.5k which is 10% of pve.

Why does it have to be a certain percentage of pve? If anything it should be the same ... The average pvper actually has 5 to 10k imo hell i average 200 kills on a slow night of pvp ...Why shouldn't we have something to try for that only the true pvpers can attain not just the person looking to try get all the achievements and spend 20minutes in PVP ...

The pvp achievements are a joke. They are way too easy.

I agree that these achievements are a piece of cake for everyone that actually PvP's.

That said, personally I like that it's not that high, that way it allows people like myself with hardly any interest in PvP to achieve them too. Making them ridiculously high would force people that want achievements, but have absolutely no interest in PvP, to spend a high amount of their time in a part of the game they really don't want to spend any time in.

And before anyone says that pve requirements are much higher, I think 35k kills in PvE are a joke too.

It's a joke for mage and bird.
You can easily get 3+ kills per game as a mage or bird in FFA.

10k pvp kills for overlord... My best pvp char only has 7k kills on it after 1 year of pvp. I play on different characters so my kills and deaths are scattered. :P

Will take a long time to get 500 ctf goals LOL

Not a bad idea but if they increase the PvP achievements for elite PvP'ers, likewise the PvE should be increased also. I passed 'Warlord' around level 50 and just like 1k PvP kills is a minor achievement to you, 35k PvE kills is a minor achievement to hardcore PvE'ers and myself.

just noticed that in CTF you did a little mistake.

mine now = requires 1 capture in ctf SUGGESTION: 10
