I'm not a fan of DC, but the only series I've ever enjoyed from them is Batman. With the movie coming up and me being sick of Pokemon atm, I decided to do this:

I'll post the different layers soon

When an artist works on a concept or subject that isn't familiar to them, we tend to use a template to use as a sort of inspiration. As I stated on my OP, I'm not a fan of DC comics, so Ive never worked on any DC related art until now. I used the picture that you linked, and incorporated my own style into it.

I forgot about this thread until you bumped it, but I meant to provide the inspiration to this piece along with my work's in progress. just as a type of disclaimers note, I did not copy (as in trace) the provided picture, to make this piece.

I'm certain that all the art that I've showcased on these forums for years are evident enough that I don't steal from any artist['s] work.

And your point is...? Reds looks better than the original anyway, and I can't draw a tree on my iPad so kudos to red for this extravagant work of art ;D

I always thought a drawn batman looks better than a photo of a batman anyway
