this might not be implemented...but I might as well try, right?
So this would happen: at very random times, when people are selling and buying stuff in towne, there should be purple dust spinning like a tornado...and then....BOOM! hello Skeller crunch!
It's not always going to be skeller crunch though, it would be a randomized boss chosen and it would have stats like Tha' Ref in PvP.
I'm hoping from this 1% chance if implementing, that devs will consider this! LOL.
But, what do you guys think?

If I wanna fight a boss, I will go and play the game, I don't want to be disrupted all the time by a boss, that way it would be impossible to just chill in place, or sell items in peace. Not to mention, town is filled with different level people, so how would this be possible?

What do you mean? Having a boss monster pop up from the campaign to the town? Then everyone would just pile up on the boss and kill the NPC? Lol that would be funny.. If that is what your talking about.. Could you make everyone get a drop? Maybe like 5k gold and a pink or so for everyone? :) But the pinks would be different levels.. for that character.

this should be a random effect every day at a random time. would be freaking hilarious. but don't make it count against their death ratio.

How about not doing this in Forest Haven Towne - always the safe place. But, if you want to venture to other Townes to do your trading then this might happen.
Personally, I like this idea. I wouldn't care if there were drops or not. Just the idea of a peaceful town suddenly being slaughtered sounds like fun.
I would have the purple cloud move around so the boss pops out at random spots on the map each time and maybe give it more HP otherwise 1 or 2 45s could take it down easily. Let it kill. Let it feed upon the living..... :) LOL.

They should spawn on the edge of town, so you see someone yelling "HELLLLP!" and running towards the mass of people in the center of town as Meathead is in hot pursuit!

that would be amazing! have it be a random boss from a random level, but uber strong with like 10x health so that its a bit of a challenge even if the towne has the max 25 people in it...devs? please? lol...ooh, devs, start a poll in the announcements thread to see how many players like the idea...i think there would be more for it than not

Bump. Was just thinking of what would happen to all the selling spam if a boss rolled through Towne and killed everyone. :)
Also, deaths as a result of a Towne Massacre should not count towards death totals.

Why? I think the idea is great and why should I start a new thread only to be told this was already suggested? The thread was only two months old. :)
A lot of new players have registered on the forums since then, so maybe they would want to see this idea.

yah, i dont wanna be bothered with a battle in Towne. I go there to chill for a minute. But it might be funny to have a boss just kinda walk through town, from one end to the other? I can see that fat pink demon thing walk through the crowd, burping and scratching his behind... LOL!
