Skeller is easily do-able by 35s, so it's 35+ (said to be able to get to level 50 through there) and AO1 is 35-40, so it is for the same levels, but you can level higher in Skeller.

Skeller was introduced as a more laid back alternative to the Ancient Swamps, both contain bad guys from level 30-35, and both are designed for those levels. The swamps are harder and slower to level in, but more fun and have better loot.

People think that because at level 45, mobs are at a yellow threat level.

hmm im gonna opt for skeller, i like the swamps tho cuz of the loot, but i cant do the swamps alone, its just too tough but then again u get all the drops when u do the swamps alone

I know there was some buggyness with XP in Skeller when it first came out. However, if it's still possible to level past 38 there, that's a bug, the campaign is intended for levels 30-35 ;)

I'm in the swamps with friends at least once a day lately helping people... So if you want some swamp exp just pm me... You're more than welcome... I'm Furrawn almost always in the swamps...

Swamps has gone to gray for me at level 39, but in Skeller they are still yellow, and sometimes red. So, if I can't find anyone to play with in Alien Oasis 1, I also check Skeller.
