Hyper gun vs aquaris + skarch gun

I trying using the new 81 gear only a weapon and make a video using it.

For the infested map
First choice gun 50m
Second choice skrach gun 6-10m + mythic staff 80-100m.
50m only and a little more time to kill I think is better option.

Does it still work to proc the skratch gun then switch to aquaris?

aqua staff AA + hyper gun auto does more damage than skratch gun auto or process
