I was hoping to organize a group of myself, and two other members who would be willing to do repeated Dr. Kriegberg runs in Morhaven District - Kriegberg Returns. The reason for this is, as you may have noticed, Kriegberg is pretty hard to kill! Takes me a load of blood packs even with a group of people to kill you and I still die. >_< So I was hoping a few members from the Dark Legends community could get together and we could maybe figure out some way to make killing this guy... easier. We could just spam kill him 100 times or we could make up our own builds. If you interested simply comment below.

Spots open (In no order):
1: Me (Vanished)
2: Illuminate
3: Borito

Back up spots (In no order):

1: Aracnus
2: Vemonized
3: Minamoo

*NOTE* ALL SPOTS ARE CURRENTLY FULL
As we develop and learn new things I'll keep you posted here so check back often.
If someone cannot attend a mission, a backup will replace him/her.

7/9/12 - Ahhhh, I've been kinda lazy with these. I'm not sure how my week will be so I'll see when the group and I can start up on these runs again.

7/3/12 - Today was a very successful day in Dr. Kreigberg butt kicking strategies.

Illuminate figured out that you have to kill the minions first then he will he will lower his shields.

First off we tried two people going into the right and one going left. Each team did there share of killing and pulled the doctor into the hallway and we all used the skill Curse. This wasn't very effective and either made everyone on the team die or use several blood packs to stay alive.

Second we tried what we did yesterday to double check it and make sure the plan was full proof. It worked wonders and is still the fastest way to kill the doctor:

Two players go off to the right, while one goes off to the left. Both teams attack there group of mobs then meet in the middle and pull the boss back to the front of the level so he is away from the fog. Illuminate figured out that the fog damages us, and heals the doctor. Keep him away from the middle and your home free. We managed to kill him with no one dying and having only used one blood pack.

This worked very well and we tried it many times.

Due to it being the fourth of July tomorrow we'll be meeting up again on Thursday and we'll hopefully have more ideas in the time being.

7/2/12 - We tried many different things today and all were very good. This strategy worked fairly well:
I've only done this mission a dozen times or so, by no means am I an expert. Anyways.

I run in to the round room and go into the cubby on the right and hang out there killing the trash until the sarge(?) spawns. Then I kill him as fast as possible with full charged VS FB and melee attacks while he is stunned/knocked down. Seems to me the docs shield doesn't drop till the sarge(?) is dead. Then repeat the same on the doc.
This worked and we managed to kill the boss quickly and the team and I only used little to no blood packs at all. But we found another strategy that helped that I made up:

Two players goto the left section. One player goes off to the right. Both groups battle out there sides and when the sarges are dead they run to the middle and attack the boss till he dies.

This was just as good as the first but to many blood packs were used.

The fastest solution that we found for the day was this:

Two players go off to the right, while one goes off to the left. Both teams attack there group of mobs then meet in the middle and pull the boss back to the front of the level so he is away from the fog. Illuminate figured out that the fog damages us, and heals the doctor. Keep him away from the middle and your home free. We managed to kill him with no one dying and having only used one blood pack.

That's just about everything we tried today, we'll do this again tomorrow and I'll keep you posted.

7/1/12 - Don't think I forgot about this thread! The group and I will try to begin our first series of runs tomorrow and I will post back here on what we find.

Actually, watch your health in case you kill yourself cause he takes time :p

Other than that, if you have lots of health, ok, go for him. Otherwise, run around, pick off his minions, wait for his shield to go down, VS/other skill him, run back so he doesn't KB you. When your CD's are done, run up to him, repeat.

Oh yeah, you can feed on him (no shield) or his minions, of course.

Most groups I join are not having that much trouble with him. Sometimes when we let too many of his minions stay alive, but mostly it just takes a little time to kill him is all.

Well you're lucky. All the runs I've done have resulted in me dying at least once.

(all after eliminating capt Merc first- watch HIS bombs too, though has no ground poisoning)
1. V swarm
2. sometimes full fatal burst breaks his shield
3. run from his bombs as they land and leave the space of slightly smaller than swarm radius
4. when you get him in a clear patch, wail on him with melee.
Dr.'s strategy.

(In co-op, I usually try to use within 5 packs.... but I have been able to co-op with 0-2 packs used)

Lol wut? Mustache?

Really I did solo Krieg without dieing, on the first try. I DO NOT want to do it again though without help. It's just too expensive to solo him with my mostly green gear. Maybe when I collect more packs from missions.

Good luck Shao.

I've only done this mission a dozen times or so, by no means am I an expert. Anyways.

Then I kill him as fast as possible with full charged VS FB and melee attacks while he is stunned/knocked down. Seems to me the docs shield doesn't drop till the sarge(?) is dead. Then repeat the same on the doc.

When I solo without buffs, I use about 10-15 health pots per run. Multiplayer without a leach, I use 2-4.

I hit 25 yesterday and this morning before the kids woke up, I joined a multiplayer mission. Bought a x3 buff pack, ran in and did my thing, just as I killed sarge, someone else joined and we both killed the doc. I had 3 gems fly out of the doc when he died. A green and two purple lvl 25 kreiberg gems.

I've never had 2 purps drop from the same mob. Bug? I dunno. But the above is what I did and what happened.

I got so excited thinking this x3 buff pack was super blessed. I immediately ran other gem missions afterwards and only got greens and whites.

I've found that weapons with the ice/freeze effect prevent him shielding when it hits. Once that happens, killing him takes a few seconds even if he is at full health.

the point is not to avoid the middle. Sometimes the fog is on the side because you were at a wall and he was throwing the bomb at you. WHAT you didn't know the bombs made the fog? smhhhh
Why am i more analytic than you OP?

Flowman

His shield goes back up when he's inside the smoke/gas/fog - whatever you want to call it.

Lure him out of the middle, or simply away from where ever he's tossed a grenade and smack him.

Yes, like I said, if he tosses a grenade at a far wall, sometimes you can fight in the middle

Yesterday I saw a kriegberg stone 30 drop for someone else , atleast that gives me a confirmation about it being droppable unlike the relic weapons which I havent even seen dropping with 3 players in about 400runs or more

Its easy to kill kberg.... I did it first try... just stay away from the silver dust like gasses kill his minions then feed on kberg use a move that keeps him still like (fire aura dark bind) or (vermin swarm and fatal burst/brim. Its easy also stay
away from his shield it drains life
