View Full Version : Mid-fight Leaving; how it ruins PVP
In PvP, if you choose to do so, you can leave the game you are currently in while you are in the middle of a fight. The score remains as it was, no points scored, and your opponent does not get a kill. The punishment: 1 death, the same thing you would have received had you stayed. This can quickly ruin PvP if not addressed. Free for all has no meaning when both sides leave when low on HP. Players use this little "strategy" of theirs to win in FFA because they rejoin the game right after leaving and get a kill on their injured opponent. This "strategy" needs to be fixed.
It should be if you leave during combat you can't join back until that match is over

What if someone needed to brb and someone uses a skill on them? Counts as a death
Late that is a good fix... I was thinking more of putting a huge x over them and everyone who rushes them gets a free 10,000,000 gold... but your idea works too.

@Yich the giant x still wouldn't stop the person from leaving during combat
Perhaps STS can have any mid-fight leavers devices completely fried for leaving?

Give them 5 deaths instead of one, most would stop I bet.
I did think of that, but in low level their are guilds out there that care nothing for KDR and do this just to ruin everyones KD. It would be nice if whoever did the most damage on the leaver got the kill...

This is aggrivating but so is standing in a room notmfighting two others are running around the map cause a player is " kite" and you get hit by a skill or two, if you heal and decide to go to another game, you leave the game in combat the result a loss... Both these issues have been going for somt time.

Solution is have a high level bodyguard in each game.
