I had a friend level up in map 5 of tindrin and literally go completely invisible. Was able to chat, didn't test if he could kill mobs he left as I was about to say try to kill mobs.

Yeah, it is weird. This happened to me once during the winter racing event. I think I even made a post about it. No clue what the cause or issue was but the racers just went invisible during the race, powerups were disappearing in front of me and ice/drift marks were appearing but the players themselves weren't visible.
