Tainted Sets....

Hi,

Might I ask what's the point of the tainted sets? Aren't they supposed to be there as the "cheaper" option for endgame content?

It seems you might as well be naked in 81 maps instead of using tainted sets cuz you aren't gonna even tickle mobs let alone bosses, lol.

Bosses and mobs in 81 map almost dont take any damage unless you have Proc activated, and the proc of these sets don't do much.

Elite content will be coming soon.... tainted sets do nearly 0 damage to normal 81 maps now, imagine elite ones ^.^

How many of you would want a person using tainted set in your pt for rahabkor or DM?

It's true we need mythic and arcane rarity gears to be better than set gears, but 20x better seems a bit absurd. As a mage tainted set gives me 5k damage, but with ebon armor + Staff proc I am at 100k+ damage.

Again, there needs to be a clear line between the newbs and veteran, but this much disparity is a bit too much.

Reducing the armor and health of all mobs and bosses while nerfing the proc of 76 arcanes, and 81 mythic.

For example, 76 arcane Staff gives 1.5x damage, and 81 Staff gives 2.5x damage. This way these weapons will be stronger than the cheaper options while not being game changing.

I asked about this as well and from my interpretation of Cinco's response, it seems like nothing will be done to these sets. They will remain useless 81 gears.

With duggar daggers + sunken armor and 100%bd and with 2 mages it took me like 15min to kill last boss in lvl 81 zone. I literally did 0 dmg unless I proc my duggar and sunken at the same time. Even arcanes are useless those days.
After lvl 76 arcanes everything got so off balanced and the only thing people want is buffs, however I think we should nerf instead. I know everyone will disagree but I think duggar should give like 20% dmg boost and mythics 10% (keep in mind procs themselves are op af already). I mean usually in MMORPGs people are happy when they can boost theyr stats by 1-2%, 200% is just absurd not to mention mythic buffs.
