Suggestion: Gladiator Legends. A purely PvP game

Dear STS, instead of releasing a PL revamp (AL) please make a pure pvp game. You would battle other players to lvl up and get items. There would be in-game tourny system built in, a duel mechanic, skill trees, tons of sifferent weapon and battle types (FFA, CTF, DM, TDM, Infected, etc)


I think this would be amazing. Thoughts anyone?

I am a PvP addict, and I would go nuts over this. Too bad they haven't made one yet, that would be their biggest revenue maker by far!

Perhaps: The world is on the brink of collapsing. Everyone has turned into a savage, and it's either kill, or be killed.

So pretty much an apocolyptic setting.

Ohh i like the end of the world setting. As for the theme, i like medievil setting (so swords, spears, nets) but With primitive gunpowder weapons (blunderbuss, pirate pistols, etc). How does that sound?

Caveman days. Everyone fights with sticks and stones. You can upgrade your stick by setting it on fire, and your stone by bashing it with another until you get a pointy bit on it.

Fire stick = 500 plat
Pointy rock = 500 plat

No one would care. (I hope) a pure FFA game. See THAT would be something! But there will always be those "go" snobs. Just attack 'em anyways, it's FFA, no one would care.

You mean like a kill streak reward? I'm pretty sure that idea originated from the Call of Duty™ and takeing their idea would be going against their copy rights which could lead to a law suit.

Of course I'm no expert but that's what I think would happen

Different themes, every level is a more advanced, starting with level 1-10 savage fist fights, rock throwing, and stick usage, all the way to the post-Apocalyptic levels where it's sci if technology with a more savage style

There will be many races and a good amount of classes, for the variety and battle strategies

Gear can be unlocked by how many kills you got, and depending on where you got them

Ranking/reputation=games won+K/D+captures+achievements/special
Ranking/reputation can change depending on the equation above

Guilds will work with each other to team or fight other guilds

This means guild rankings

No leaderboards, but a ranking system showing the most "respected" flag capturers, guild, each game mode kill (the difference between this and leadboards is, this shows people who have the ranking that's toughest to get and it'll be rather tough)

Badges instead of titles for achievements

DL is pretty close to a pvp game, since you fly through the content and have nothing left to do but pvp or farm gear / achieves.

There would be no copyright problem... Plenty of other games reward you for killing a certain amount of people without dying. Not just COD. If anything just call
it something different.

But I like the idea. If this were to go into action, I think guilds would get much more serious. Having guild/clan wars.

I like the idea but how about a futuristic gladiator game. Its where you fight in space and you can choose a lots of classes that suits your style. The characters are available from a human race to the alien race.
Weapons upgrades and customization that can be altered to suit your style or needs. Power can be upgraded and obtain through various of ways.
Well that's all I have in my mind now :)
