The right name is the Higgs Boson.
The scientists at the large Haldron collider are 99.99999% sure it ia the Higgs Boson since what they found acts like what they were looking for.
The Higgs Boson is the reason for why objects have mass. Without it then modern science is falsified

Interesting fact: The name guy that coined the "god particle" name said it was supposed to be the "goddamn particle"

I forgot most of the stuff I knew about higgs boson, but it is an important discovery. Hopefully when I get to a higher level we will have a higher understanding of the particle.

Without it then nothing has mass. It is what makes matter stick together. You wouldn't exist without it basically

so if its lost thennothing exists like when the wrld will end in 2012? lol

It will help scientists to develop more complex chips(processors) n many other things...

so would it be in ground or any place right?

I think its the particle that will finally allow a SL update.

Finding the Higgs Boson was faster than a SL update

i read it in the wall street journal on a 8 hours flight from europe
i also saw the godfather for the first time on the plane tv very good movie but the second one is a waste of time

All matter won't stick together as Ardon explained... The Higgs Boson, or Higgs Particle, is extremely unstable, decaying into other particles almost spontaneously after its creation. Okay...think about this... Half life of Higgs Boson? Not much. Half life of something like Bismuth-209... 19 Exa-Years... That's 1.9 X 1019... You can see how unstable it is!

To Argon...

The peeps in Geneva are gonna collide particles and find nothing... They'll reconstruct another particle collider and find the god particle... Wait that's 30 years! -Turns on SL- NO FRIGGIN UPDATE YET?!?!

huh... you are confusing Boson Particles and Chemical Elements...

I like what Niel Degrasse (sp?) said
On the day America celebrates itself, Europe reminds us we suck at science. :)

We do? Better send a note to Hubble.

The European space agency helped us build that.
