Before Forgotten Vanity event, lets uhhh talk...

Howdy Fellow Notts,

I'd like to discuss the potential sets that could be picked for the forgotten vanity event, specifically for the mage class.

I know what your thinking, "Isn't forgotten vanity event pretty far away?" or "Wont Cinco make a similar post to this in the future for all of us to discuss" yes and yes. The reason for this post is to:


1) Have the majority of mages pick specific vanities thus making it clear what the majority of us mages want by the time the main post is made.


2) Push my own selfish agenda and show you potential sets you may have not considered. In other words, suggestive brainwashing ;)


3) For other to also share sets that I/others may have not considered.

I could post in the general section but thats no different from the post cinco would make. I wanna keep it mage gear only and to be honest idc that much about the other classes gear, nor do I know enough to speak about what should/shouldn't be made into a vanity (in regards to other classes). Anyway I'll start first:

I picked items based on the following:

1) Visuals: How good do they look?
2) Economic effect: Will collectors be affected? Is the item currently obtainable?
3) Flexibility: Does the set look good both in gun and staff mode?



ARMOUR SETS:

Demon Lord sets:
- Any of the demonlord sets would be fine, I picked these because visually they look good, theyre flexible, and the would not affect collectors (I have a bunch of these)

Demonologist set:
- Looks good in staff form, a bit of clipping in gun form around the arm but more or less torelable. I would personally like the orange one (shown in the image) or the purple one.

Spirit set:
- I never cared about spirit gear until I saw this one. literally makes you look like a space marine from warhammer 40k. Personally I think it looks really cool and is one I really look forward to seeing.

Magma sets:
- I would love either the orange or green one. not only do they look cool but I love the details on them.

Bogland set:
- This one is super underrated and no one ever talks about it. Its lightweight, it looks super stylish and its very unique and I hate to see it be left as rare gear that no one uses.

Swampguard set:
- out of all the sets I've mentioned I think this has the best "Flexibility" in gun and staff form.

WEAPONS (This was tough):

Hellshriek Staff (Purple shaft): Theres a version of this thats green/emerald (Which i have also inlcuded an image of) but I personally like the purple one the most. Theres also the Charward staffs (flame effects instead of dark aura) but we have enough staffs with fire effects (at least in my opinion).

Mire Musket: I know it comes in blue, red and i think... yellow? anyway yeah this gun would be great.

This gun: This one would probably hurt collectors the most so I didn't know whether to include it, but yeah I like its looks. I think it was called Borealis or something.
