with a 2 handed weapon i have 102 damage, and i dont even use all onset. 2 handed weapons have really high base damage, but you sacrifice speed. having 4 points in the damage passive gives you 31 damage. kriegburgs gem gives 3 damage, attack gives 1 damage per 18 attack.

far too many techniques, combos, and builds are openly shared publicly ... that its difficult to tell the difference between season DL veterans and want a be whiteserpents , floatings, threns, kharmels in pvp, meaning that unique builds no longer exist because people want to copy it. in the end pvp will have so much parity because everyone is using similar builds, lol.

truly those that put in time (countless hours), effort, and plats will understand were I'm coming from.

I also have a level 25, and i put on a 2H:

Weapon: Crescent Defiler of Safety (lvl 25)
Attack: 192
Defense: 172
Health: 987
Damage: 100
DPS: 98

Powers:
Sanguinary Wrath: 0
Blood Shield: 0
Vampiric Strenght: 4 (+31 damage)
Vampiric Vitality: 2 (+150 health)

If I trade some gems for health, I get:
Attack: 133
Defense: 174
Health: 1208
Damage: 96
DPS: 94

I suppose that if I want to maximize damage, I have to use a lot of attack gems, and add points to Sanguinary Wrath. But PvE experiments with attack were not as favorable as defense+health. So, I am just guessing that the attack stat is less useful than defense+health. But, I could be wrong.

BTW, the weapon itself display it's stats as "45 damage". I guess the extra damage is from gems and bonuses.

I don't think its the onset gems. I think its from the weapon packs that have the lvl26 gems, onset gems don't add as much damage as some of the pack ones. Ecliptic gem is also not necessary as their are other gems with equal or comparable damage. Also like mentioned earlier the +4 on damage/attack likely is the reason.

Guess this discussion also discusses whether or not builds should be public or not. In my sole opinion, MY build should be public so that those that need a nudge or a little idea of what a pvper (me) uses, can work off of that and make their own build.

I have heard private comments about others builds and I told them I wouldn't share their build without their consent and I won't ever do that. Everyone has the right to what they want to use. My build thread (as stated there) only serves as a template and by no means is the best build available. The way I see it is that I make public a build that you can test to find its strengths or weaknesses and from there improve the build.

About the damage topic, I will have to get back to y'all on that when I get back online and test gem combinations. :)

I have 82 damage and at 26 it will be 88 with the damage passive at 4. I was looking into buying a Onset gem of Blood. That may increase my damage to 89. I still need to wait as I'm 6k-ish from 26.

floating.. ure pic before is with 2 hands weapon.. thats doesnt count lol since ure skill dmg isnt affect directly from that dmg! with a bit less 1 hand wrapon ull get more skills dmg (like burst, sd....) than 2 hands weapon even ull have more dmg.
in fact. i can have easily 100 dmg, but with all points in passive skills, but ull not survive in pvp. like the example thirsty pic. his stats is to good to be true. my guees is all passive skills point. all 14!
like it said.. thats isnt the goal cos look at his pvp score. he cant survive like that.
the idea is to to have good stats AND normal skills to kill in pvp.

Bro I suggest set your passive to 4240 if u have 10 points spare in ur skill points.... While use 4040 if u only have 8 skill points left... But this stats will be pure POW type no health....

Then try 4042 in ur passive as stated above for the POW-VIT type stats...

Its not worth it because of the plat cost? because it has higher stats than viper twins all round, except for hp (like+40 or something). Dont understand though still haha,using all shards of onset and still getting 165 (the green gems) and the pink ones (stones) ofonset actually LOWER dps. and theres no gem like kriegberg stone for all gems, only shadow. So :S

they dont worth +2 dps and same dmg..
40 health is worth a lot if ure stats is 2 health points.
