It's Sunday again!

Hi everyone! Well it's Sunday again and I thought since the "Favorite Bible Verse" thread went well I'd start another. This time, however, I thought you could share your favorite Bible stories, and maybe why it's your favorite?

My favorite Bible story has got the be about Esther. The way she had the guts to go before the king of the most powerful nation at that time when it could mean the death of her and her people...That woman was crazy brave. I really admire her for that.

So what about y'all? Even if you don't believe the Bible is true, you gotta admit there are some crazy good stories to be found in there. Please try and keep the thread on topic this time! (of course a little humor never hurt anyone ;) ) Remember, this is not a debate thread!
