Obtainment of APs with new bosses

Why can't we obtain APs after we die from the boss but our team manages to kill the boss?

I mean in planar arena which is an 81 ZONE we can get APs without even entering the arena.

Also, we can still obtain loot from these bosses after we die and our team kills them ... so why no APs?

Exactly, for example when Elite Mecharydon was at like 2% HP I died but I saw the "star" popping out basically meaning that it counted towards the APS. Went to the scoreboard to check it and it just doesn't count. I believe every other zone has it the way that if your team finishes the map after you die, you still get to have it recorded towards the APS.

Just a QOL update that should be implemented in Elite Zodias maps as well, imo.

Okay so basically APS does count if u stay dead in the boss area but it doesn't if u respawn. Double checked it.
