After several years there are some outdated weapons which are very rare. I got 2 ideas which can increase the motivation for the playerbase to farm for something worth. The new playerbase will benefit from it too.
First idea: Create a Lock with 3 Tiers to craft/get. Bronze silver and gold like the other chest in the game. U can farm these crates and combine them to a better one with a higher chance to loot old weapons.
It is free to open and cost not a single plat. The way to farm it is maybe a new simple loot map with some ads and a challenging boss. He drops also currency that we can trade for some material to craft them via our crafting table. The weapons we crafted are bound but cost much time to get them. Like the old dreamscape weapons :)
Second idea:
Implement my first idea into a limited event. The income for sts will be some locks which contain materials to craft them. So p2w players will get their motivation to get them from those chests. Sts will be happy too :)
