Hello to all of our creative minds!
The community team and I would like to officially announce our first semi-annual Bloggy Awards!

What are the Bloggy Awards?
I'm glad you asked!

Bloggy Awards® is an event and a celebration recognizing all of our creative bloggers!
The event will be hosted here on the forums late August, 2012 (more details in time) by your very favorite moderators! ;)
We'll announce all of the categories prior to the event, and in traditional fashion, player blogs will be nominated and voted by the Spacetime Community team.

What Do I Get?
Winners will receive their very own unique Bloggy Banner Strip.
Wear it on the forums with and show it off to your friends! :D
Some blogs will also be featured on Spacetime Studios' Twitter page!

Categories
+ Funniest blog
+ Most helpful blog
+ Most creative blog
+ Best gaming blog
+ Best personal blog
+ and many many more categories will be announced!

It will be an exciting event and I can't wait to read through some of your awesome blogs!

Guidelines
+ You may blog daily or weekly.
+ Be sure you follow all of the forum rules and use your best judgement when making blog posts.
+ Never share your personal account information or password
+ Do not give away personal information you otherwise wouldn't want someone to know (i.e. where you live, your date of birth etc...)

...so brush up on your writing skills and blog about anything and everything! We want funny blogs, blogs about your adventures, blogs about your thoughts... there are no limits to the ideas!

A couple of you have asked about and how to start one, so let me answer these questions.

1. What is a blog?

A blog is a like a thread, but in a different format. All forumers can post one. In this case, you post different blog entries and it appears with your newest blog post at the top of your blog page.

2. How do you start a blog?

Your blog is found here: http://www.spacetimestudios.com/blog.php. Just click that link. That takes you to the blog homepage. When you are there, click on the "Create new Post" button top right. You then enter a title then the main content. Then click "submit". That is your first blog post. You can continue doing this depending on how many blog posts you want.

In a nutshell, a blog can be somewhat like a diary or journal. You share a bit of what's happening, or what's on your mind. You can use it to post a short paragraph about something you have done, have been thinking about or something helpful like a tutorial or guide or strategy. :)

I started my blog in winter but then got distracted and left it for a while

My blog is the fiction story about my toon - flashbackflip - based on SL lore (from wiki) and was going to include and merge fiction as it is with real game events
