A question about Platinum

So I just decided to buy the second campaign (Dark Forest) .So to buy it I need to get an iTunes card and add it to my account.Then I need to buy platinum through the Game,and buy the campaign with the platinum I bought.Does this also work for the German store?Or is it US only?
