Grrrrr my pet peeve is in ctf when your own team members don't protect you when you have the flag, run away from you (Like back the other way) and or run along side you like 2 targets are not as bad for the enemy.......... and when I stop to let dipsh&* run ahead so they can protect me, they F'n stop to see what I'm doing.... aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh I'm so angry :-\\

i do that sometimes when I'm escorting. I try to get ahead of the flag carrier and make sure the way is clear, once I see it's clear, I'll slow down to make sure no one is coming up from behind. Is that what ur talking about? The only other time I have problems when I'm the flag carrier is when it's noobs trying to escort. I usually pm them afterwards to let them know what they should do. Most cooperate after that.

9) when i need a heart and see the same enemy or ally standin on it to kill others tryin to heal

Last but not least, when people get chaty and drink tea in a pvp area

If the flag carrier has no chance to make it to the flag zone: health too low and too far from health refill orbs I will go behind him to grab the flag when he dies and protect myself from enemies. I fully expect them to go on a Kamikaze run towards enemies in front so I can grab the flag and score for the team.

It works very well if the flag carrier doesn't stop to look at me :D

yeah some players aren't observant of teammates health sometimes.. if im low health and person following me has more i spam skills to kill myself so they can pick it up.. doesn't work if they aren't paying attention tho.

:S Kluuu most people will flame you for trying ... So just try to teamplay in a way that you wont get deaths for people who are going to flame you. Like defending--->heart--->flag===>heart. Thats what I do mostly and I keep getting flamed with reasons like stealer XD It has become really funny to watch :D

There are times when a team mate comes into the base and hits the switch for the door way too soon, then wonder why we get pwned when it opens. If theres only one opponent there, don't close the door. We can take 'em ya pansie! lol You close the door too soon, they will just regroup in front of our door doofis. Smh.

When I see someone else at base besides myself, I get on offensive mode & try to help defend the flag carrier. Especially when their backup fails a few times. Gotta help out the team. :)

And you know.. if someone steal, you steal it too or kill them with using lights. There are bunch of way to re-steal the kill from them.

Agree with most of those, especially when people get hearts with full life and they steal it from you when you have less than 50%. Any side with players that focus on improving their KD ratio instead of helping the team get the flag will no doubt be the losing side.

Not sure if I agree with point 9 though if the player doing it has low health.

Have to agree. Stskill's specs are very much geared towards improving his own stats and not for assisting the team. It's the team that carries him though and if they fail, he fails, which annoys me when he blames the team.

Here are my reasons (mainly on my observations in DM):

- he has high health (above 1500) but low dmg (only 50).
- he uses VS, Leap and Fire (unsure of the 4th skill). This indicates that he must be spending a lot on powers (going down 3 paths) thus sacrificing his passives and therefore not able to put much in damage if his health is still so high.

When you combine all this together, you have a player that doesn't cause as much damage when using VS due to only 50 DMG (therefore not weakening the enemies for the benefit of the team as much as most others). He then uses Fire when in close to ensure that he gets credit for the kill. He can't possibly do this on his own as his ranged AoE attacks would be weak compared to most others, so must rely on support from his team to help weaken before he finishes off.

If he relies on his most strongest skill the fire, then he has to get in close and personal leaving him vulnerable to slash / fire attacks guaranteeing a depletion in his health all the time. This is where a supportive team can save him either by weakening the foes first which would enable him to finish them off quickly and therefore minimising damage to himself, or protecting him to go and find a heart afterwards as he'd be no doubt on the verge of dying if he started the fight himself.

Any kiter with damage above 70 will beat him one on one except of course when he’s king. This is why King is so important to him.

It's evident that stskill is a good team player with his focus on his side winning, but his build guarantees his name at the top of the list. Not really saying that there’s anything wrong with this strategy, but Stskill you really need to stop dissin your team and give them credit if you are going to continue playing that way!!

Perhaps the devs need to look at awarding the kills to the players that cause the most damage....not the player that come in at the end and finishes off (KS). The possible exception would be if the person causing the most damage dies before his target. This would hopefully shut the KS whingers up.

Yea, i think def and hp is most important things you need for pvp. But actually stskill is pro. He get stole other people kills and he is still alive. Nor he runs for king place. I killed him alot but he killed me alot too. :3 but i still get him with rare gems and more kills than he got per match lol

If opponent is good enough will hit unprotected flag carrier and draw back flag to base at the same time. i repeat very SNOOB conduct, it tells more about selfish behavior than teamwork (i really love it when i have to recover flag and carrier is protected with guys like you it makes work so easy :-) ).

The heart does not provide a speed boost. The icon that looks like a boot (at least what they look like to me) at the spawn points in CTF are the only things that give you a speed boost.

Taking a heart when your HP is full and a comrade is approaching it with less HP,that is what makes some people mad. When you hurt your own team more than help it by making your teammates vulnerable to easy picking.

Not necessary. would u rather fight with 2 people on speed boosts or 1 boost and one normal. it all comes down to penetrating defence and i think if u let ur partner behind u get the boost, both of u could race into the enemy defence and cause some mayhem. 2 people on speed boosts can finish off the defence and spawn attack the defender too. if its coordinated well. but i dont see anyone using this. Once the gate is open. its unfortunately go go go

The sole reason why I do it is so that I can wait for their defenders to exhaust their skills without getting my blood drained by their vermin swarm. timing is everything.. i can then come in with my rats+leap and go catch the flag and try to carry it myself with heaps of blood left to get a good distance in.

Yeah I could see someone getting some heat for this tactic, cause the flag carrier becomes the bait, and will not only take the damage, but also will exhaust their magic to defend themselves while his/her team member is behind them to pounce on whats left of attacking players health ... that team member most likely will finish off the players that are attacking flag carrier, and get credit for some kills while the flag carrier just gets a death.

I think the more noble thing to do, is to have one member go outside of base first and hold that intersection as long as possible prior to other team member grabbing flag ... so that when other team member goes through with flag, the opposing attack team has no magic to use on them. It takes practice and coordination, but at least the flag carrier doesnt feel like they are bait.

I know if I get flag, and my member is trailing me, I will sometimes just wait for them to go in front of me.

What i'm saying is if its just the two of us and you're dying with the flag, i'm not gonna be a hero and cop damage with you.


****As for myself being the carrier, if its just the two of us I'd like for you to use my tactic coz as far as i know, it works. ****

i'm gonna stay back coz i know i can catch it and get a good distance in. you can come and catch it if you want. all i want is to see 3 on our team's score.

Well.. Plain and simple, I think people just need to practice,practice,practice n try out multiple methods of play and just do what works for you. The players that are always winning are winning because of practice and refining their strategy. Dont get mad at the other players.. its all up to you.

I killed him alot but he killed me alot too. :3 but i still get him with rare gems and more kills than he got per match lol

I dont really have problems, or rather, didn't until this player sent me an invitation (like she usually did) for a ctf match. So i joined her team. One of our team member quit so it was just her and i against 3 others. Guess what she did? She up and quit and joined the other team. so I was up against 4 people. Made sure I killed her enough times before I quit the match. [:

Mine is when people from your team switch teams just because yours is loosing. So that makes it 5 vs 1 -.- Also when you get mobbed and get killed while the teammate is just standing aside watching and then they just pick up kills. Oh yeah and one last one...when there's trash talk.

Grrrrr my pet peeve is in ctf when your own team members don't protect you when you have the flag, run away from you (Like back the other way) and or run along side you like 2 targets are not as bad for the enemy.......... and when I stop to let dipsh&* run ahead so they can protect me, they F'n stop to see what I'm doing.... aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh I'm so angry :-\\

i play with k board and mouse and start clik like crazy and cant stop b4 i run over a heart when i have full health, but i do chastize myself to b more careful. Hard when u noob also.

Ok, an enemy charges you and blows everything he has and does not kill you. You then give him all you have and just before you get the kill, he leaves the match! Zomg whyyyy ! Lol
I find myself giggling instead of being upset so its not too big of a deal I suppose. ^.-

yeah quite annoying thing) I prefer suicide :D Sometimes when i run into lights ppl also run with me and die! Next there comes alot of swearing like WTF etc) Part of game, if you cant loose you will never win :D

Hi all, Baasabae here, I won't go into my usual gripes about team stacking, as when it happens now I follow the advice of many and just exit, If I have a teammate I feel bad but I'm not going to contribute to anyone who is out to win under those circumstances. These are a few moves that when happening more than a couple of times make me wonder what is the thought process behind them. As I am fairly new there may a good reason to perform some of these deeds I'm not aware of.
1. I am a team player and of course I would like impressive stats, but my main goal is for my team to win. Why do some of my teammates appear to panic when they see me approaching base with the flag and flip the switch to lock me out? Only to be pummeled by arriving opponents drained by zombies. Can't say how many times I've died outside the locked gate of my base. These are my teammates not opponents preventing me from entering, which is a frustrating but very effective tactic to employ imho.
2. Opponents who outclass my abilities without question, when I do get in a lucky kill, it then becomes their sole mission at the expense of going for the flag etc. is to hunt me down and show me how lucky I was. I am actually grateful when 1 or even 2 if I'm really lucky, will fore go their teammates in their lust for revenge on me for having the audacity to kill them and tie them up hunting and killing me repeatedly to the point where there is no question this is their only interest. The only reason I list it as a gripe is that it reeks of immaturity and detracts from the spirit of the game, in my eyes anyway.
3. My teammates who when we encounter 2 or 3 opponents will hang back until I have done what damage I can do and die, then they come in to try and finish the fight. I don't know if there is a name for this and I may be the one at fault here. When there are 2 or 3 of us approaching enemy base I will dive in against 3 enemy hoping to maybe kill 1 and weaken the others enough so my teammates can mop them up as easily as possible. There are many areas I could use some advice and this is definitely one of them.
4. Lastly, a new player who has not even tried to find out the basics of the game. I will be escorting flag carrier and make last corner by spawn area and they run straight into the spawn area and look around before heading out. I wait at corner to continue escort and as we approach turn into base they run straight past it and either enemy kill them or die in opposite spawn area from no health. It is surprising how many peep i talk to never have visited the forums where you can learn so much about playing the game. Well I'm done, sorry if I ramble, happy hunting !!
