Need your character name - affected by Skill Reset Bug?

Can you please list the name of your character that is affected? Thanks so much!

Swimmingstar, the attributes were changed too, auto leveling was on. I respeced the skills.

I am not sure about my other characters Aresmars and Aquickwin though.

Sadly, my toon Brutewarlord had both his skills and attributes reset/randomly distributed after the update last week. I hope you guys can fix this problem soon as it is quite frustrating not to have the skills I rely on to survive in PvE. :(

Is there a temporary fix for people in the meantime? Support suggested buying a platinum skill/attribute reset but, after the update, the old icon to do so seems to have disappeared from both of the screens for me. Has clicking the 'disable auto-leveling' button got anything to do with it as it seems to have taken the place of the old buttons? - Just want to double check things before doing something I might regret... :P

Disable auto-level and the button will be replaced with a respec button on the skills tab.

Thanks for that Deathpunch! Just out of curiosity - what does clicking 'disable auto-level' actually do? It doesn't stop Xp gain or anything like that does it? :confusion:

No! It just makes sure the system doesn't level up for you

If you pay for it with your current plat, they will reimburse you, if you shoot off an email to support. They did for me.

Why? I know to what you refer, but this is clearly a bug that has affect many. STS promptly responded to my email and refunded me my 12 plat quickly.

Oh yeah, Karaaistorage is also affected, but I don't care for her much since she's my bank alt. If you guys can fix her skills and stats to how it was before it just reset all skill points, please do. If not, no biggie.

okay i found out my character named private was respeced :/ from this bug he is a level 41 engineer "Private"

please re spec him back i hadn't played him in ages and am a little lost in what load out i had before :/ i just saw the lack of skills in base and then the disable auto leveling :/

So, is there a plan in motion to either get free respecs or revert our chars back to their original skill and attribute settings? And if so, when can we expect that to happen? Or we going to be forced to spend plat to respec? I guess I could do a couple Tapjoy (or whatever it is now) things to get the plat, but I don't feel I should have do that because: 1) I'm lazy, and 2) this was STS' error not mine, so it's a principle thing as well. I've been holding off on playing SL for the most part until my toon is fixed, so any further info would be appreciated. Thanks.
