rumours, cant blv they spread after every update, im still using my flamethrower, and getting good xp (in the runs I dont leave in disgust when they go "no flaemthrowers plz") or maybe the two updates cancelled each other out in terms of xp

Flamethrowers now give XP for burning eggs, but only .5xp per egg.
Reg. guns don't give any XP for it..

Well it's not that bad if you think about it, you don't have to deal with the constant bugs hatching from eggs so the runs might actually be a little quicker.

You got xp from flame throwers before, but just not as much as a regular weapon. Honestly, in a full party with regular weapons you can clear the maps just as fast as with a flame thrower, if not faster, because the tactic was to release a bunch off eggs at once and kill them in groups using skills. Everybody goes one at a time with the flame thrower, and usually with multiple people targeting the same egg too. Much less efficient

If you would ask the majority of those who haven't cap, most were upset with the xp nerf.

I was never told that lvl 41's could get flamethrowers for credits so I wasted my last platinum on a flamethrower on my lvl 41 excited about a new event. Soooo

I was stuck with regular weapons on my Toons I tried to lvl up lately, but now this update prevents me I guess.

Update: I see. As someone who is forced to solo by being DC'd half the time I find a group my level and for the rest of my time lagging in any group though, I LOVE this fix. Soloing is much easier and faster now ty system muchly.

I dunno just my opinion, i think with 5 people using flamethrowers the runs go faster than with guns, maybe not twice as fast, but faster.
There are credit flamethrowers, so not having plat is not an excuse to not be able to level up alts.
The spirit of the event was to get a flamethrower and break 2 million eggs, not level up your alts (which was and still can be done in the event maps, just not as fast as before), people weren't getting xp with flamethrowers, obviously that was wrong and needed to be fixed.

I don't know, i don't care. I gots me some eggs to scramble!

And a reason to complain less outrageously about the lowered xp gain considering the alternative for high levellers is Voleria.
