Jewels are the higher quality version of the Fire Gem, and have stats on par with lvl 20 or so items, hence the level 16 requirement so as not to allow things to get too out of balance :vsmile:

Whats the point of that when level 26 players can't PvP with level 16 characters? I don't understand. O.o The bracelect gem is practicly useless for upper level players other than looks. Make it just a vanity then cuz the stats really suck.

No level 25 version, the stats on the level 16 version are comparable to lvl 21 stats, so it will last awhile. This final gem is going to be quite a challenge to complete! The necessary Shard will be quite rare, but the event will be going on for quite awhile so you have plenty of time to work your way up :vsmile:

The end of the month is right around the corner and they said "a while" lol. I'm going for the whole summer.

I've done 33 runs and haven't dropped a fire shard yet. I guess the eagle vanity and haleness gem will be ok though. :)
Red- word on the streets is they drop on any map. Carapace says they drop from minions and not bosses though so don't rush through. Take ur time and pick up everything u see fly off the mobs.

So one of the NPCs says "the special imbued power of all Fire Gems and Fire Jewels will wan upon a certain day"

What does this mean? It will lose its stats? It will lose its appearance? It will lose the sparks the come out when you "hail"?

I'm not sure what a flahy reindeer mask is, but there is an undead version of the druid mask that was mentioned earlier in this thread yes. It's the rarist of all the masks, so happy hunting!
