Lv51 Mage

Ok I have searched this on the forums but I really haven't found my answer yet.

For my lv51 Mage should I be dex/int with enough dex for equips and more int or dex/int with just enough int for equips and more dex? Should I go pure int? Also I'm in need of the skill build but if that can't be given out its fine.

Yup, be dual int/dex, grab an xbow and kite. Or experiment with different wand/bow/xbow setups and find what suits you. Gotta love the variety sewer gear offers. :D

My 50 Mage is doing pretty awesome with a Sentinel set as well.

Buildwise:

6 into both Buffs, Drain, Ice, Fire, Heal, Lightning
5 weakness
1 shield, rev, ice storm

...or something alone those lines.

Hehe I have best build, but that's a secret, so I'll tell 2nd best one. 108 int (enough to equip ) and the rest on dex

Go XBOW kite or Staff/Wand mage with remaining stats on DEX.

My mega mage I went enough for a dex ring got a hit percent face and nuked the mess out of things.
It's very easy to cripple mages at level 51-55 cause lack of hit percent.

Perhaps a champions platinum band. Gives 2 crit and 10 damage.

Fury Pally! Enough Str for equip and rest in dex. Go with 2 % dodge and 8 armor ring. Build is same as Gaunab's except one less in ice and put it in weakness.
