If you did, it's not all that bad a rip-off, 90k isn't such a huge sum of money.

I'm not too clued up on the value of a Thoth AB, but I'd probably pay 60-80k for one if I wanted one....though im not a fan of ABs in general...

You have to remember that even if you paid above the common value you weren't scammed, you were ripped off.... Scamming is a whole different kettle of fish :)

But the way you said it hurt me inside.

P.S. I'm trying to be as nice as possible and I just want a Yes or No answer. not an explanation.

for the i dont know 100th time, that is not a SCAM, that was a poor decision. a scam would be if you got no bow at all.

and yes you made a poor decision in todays market

Quit the trolly behaviour, either post something constructive in a polite way or just don't bother.

Never mind, consider this dude, you may have paid above the odds, but you now have a Thoth AB (which I hope you bought to use and not sell on), don't sweat it about the loss of the money, it happens to the best of us :)

Paying too much for an item isn't a scam, it's poor money management skills, but yeah... you have poor money management skills :D

This thread is fun-ay lmao

It isn't a scam, just a bad buy, I wasn't looking to pay that much, but I thought, eh, I have extra gold, I might as well, you chose to bid higher, and higher, lol

but that wasn't funny. What if someone did that to you? No seriously, what if someone did that to you?

I didn't do it to you. I had extra gold, I thought I might as well, you kept bidding on it, don't try to blame me. You could've pulled at anytime and made me pay for hhe bow overpriced but you kept bidding higher and higher, and he sold it to you, so it's your fault for bidding higher. Don't blame anyone else but yourself.

You mean how would I feel if someone sold me something for a price I agreed upon? I would feel as though a transaction had been made I guess. Seriously though, people need to stop posting about feeling victimized when they overpay for something. No one did anything to you. As the buyer, you need to be educated about the item you are buying. It's your gold, and your responsibility to spend it wisely.

Edit: And maybe consider being extra careful in auctions. Many people get caught up in the excitement of a bid war, and end up bidding more than they had originally planned because they then want not only to have the item up for bids, but also to win the auction which all of a sudden seems important.

Exactly. I know prices pretty well, I am just willing to overpay if I am wealthy enough at the time being. ;)

So should this post, because it does nothing but incite more arguing. I think it's time everyone just stopped posting in this thread, everything worth while has already been said, no more comments are needed
