It says it should be blocking 500 dmg per hit. But it only blocks the first hit of a mob, after that it doesn't even though the shield was still active. And I think same for pvp, the dot are still considered hits of dmg right? so it should block those as well.

Also for some reason this pet takes longer than usual to level it seems like.

i think its not working as intended because it has to deal with the tags.

typically shields had to deal with you. what i mean by this is

your basic attack damage
pet auto attack damage
your skill damage
pet skill damage

ill use magma aa as a example" magma aa counts as your toons skill damage but comes from your pet" . we both know this but use this as a template.

typically "shields were always attached to you"

mage shield, war shield, glow shield, nekro shield, and etc.

so if a dot debuff is applied to you then the shield absorbs that damage.

well what if we switched some tags around and made it so that the shield thats covering you thinks your a pet?

the reason why im thinking this is because pets cant be delt damage to. which can explain the dot debuff thing in one aspect but it fails in another aspect. this is because if you lightening bolt the lam shield it absorbs 500 damage.

we know pets inherit debuffs from your toon because reduce move speed. so what if they actually inherit all debuffs and the devs just make them immune to most of them. this could explain whats going on with lam shield. the shield probably has some of those immunity tags attached to it.

with that being said it would be nice if they tell us because i honestly dont know im just guessing.

This should be fixed for the next update. It should be absorbing from each hit while the shield is up.
