Why are Infested Deck Vanities so Rare?

I see them for 100k-10m credits in auction house. I've grinded more than 12k xp in Infested Deck but have not seen one vanity drop. Why are these so rare?

Be happy that in the future you could be making a lot of credits from these.

Are you talking about actual rare vanities, or the event vanities (UC Marine set, Exterminator Visor, Gas masks, the new Rivet)? I've been keeping up with the latter all week and they rarely go above 5000, and even that is extremely high compared to the lows which are around 200-500 per piece.

Also the drop rates have DEFINITELY decreased. I don't get nearly as many per run, and my boyfriend just started the event a couple days ago and hasn't gotten a single drop. I still wouldn't exactly call them rare, though, as I've gotten somewhere around 5-6 different pieces today. All UC Marine stuff though, no visors or pets.

I noticed that they seem drop less frequently on the lower level maps, that may just be due to the fact that lower level characters take longer to kill eggs / vular.

What I'm trying to say is that in the future, these vanities will be gone. The prices won't be 200 credits anymore. Look at the jetpacks for example.

Probably, but what i did was on Friday-Sunday. I sold my vanities for 1 cr less than the lowest price. So i got pretty good prices for my vanities. Then on Monday-Thursday (and tomorrow) i keep ALL my vanities to sell. Everyone is going to be buying the low price ones tomorrow just because they are going to realize that there arent going to be any more UC armor. So.. just hold on to your vanities until the prices sky rocket.

I don't think we'll have too much of a problem with them dying out, though.. Right now for example I have probably about 10 of each piece stashed. We can't stop them from becoming rare, though. Over time all vanities will just become more and more rare.

Yeah, I have run the maps with my level 40 commando and level 17 op and my commando has gotten far more vanity drops. Maybe STS can clarify this, even though it is kind of late to make any changes?

i can see them maybe, MAYBE going to 10k each in 5- 6 months since there is sooooo many in the community. you were limited in the jetpack event even though there was a dupe going on but its still relatively low priced for how old those jetpacks actually are.

Not every vanity must be for money-making. The ones before the event, go merch 'em all you want! These, well, let new players partake in the spoils of war :cool:
