Can I know what is the meaning of the little + icon on some of the items?

It means you don't have vanity gun equipped on you iirc

It means we consider that item better than what you have equipped. Better means dps for weapons, armor for armor, and any stat higher for anything else.

If you don't have a vanity of that type equipped at all, it's considered an upgrade.
