It is kind of annoying seeing a huge swarm of bears now >_< People played the Archer because it was overpowered (*cough* still is *cough*) and now they are all going to switch to the "flavour of the month" class. It also means that there is a higher chance for a super bear-bear nerf.

Yeah, I think popularity is going to be the downfall of the overpowered bear. Of course, I'm gonna have to switch to bear since I gotta take advantage of this while it lasts. A crap load of loot for when the trading system is implemented.

I didnt enjoy bears because I hated the feel of having to run to my monsters.

But I do empathise with OP's point of view. Its very annoying when everyone jumps on the bandwagon which you have been faithfully following.
Its like watching your indie band become popular, and when you say I'm a xxx fan, it sounds so "I'm just a tool, following the crowd"

I might be wrong, but it seems like anything bought from itunes has to be at least $0.99. That being said I dunno if they could manage to make it so you have left over respecs...

I leveled my warrior to 23 before the update then got bored of playing it because I didn't do much damage, and I couldn't tank very well. I switched to my enchantress and got to level 26...today I happily went back to my warrior with these updates :) I've always liked the simplicity of the warrior. That's what I played on WoW and Guild Wars. I hope people don't switch to warrior just because of this. I still think my enchantress kicks far more butt in the DPS/AoE department. It's hard to beat running into a group of mobs, pulling a hot flash combo followed by lightning and killing them all. The warrior doesn't come anywhere close to doing that. But then again, it's nice to rush into a group of mobs knowing that they aren't going to kill me in like two seconds. So they both have their advantages and with the updates are finally more balanced.

I've always liked the simplicity of the warrior. That's what I played on WoW and Guild Wars.

And you must be a jerk. But why should we make assumptions based on such limited information? :)

I was tank specced and could manage aggro no problem. What I mean is that I like being able to run up to a guy and just start attacking, no worrying about stunning him then kiting, etc etc.

I have been playing a bear since the beginning. Although I do have an enchantress up to level 13, but of course my bear is only 13 also, but that's because I play with my friends and only get on when we all play together.. Hense why my enchantress is lvl 13, because I had to play something while I wait on them!!!

If your enchantress at level 12 does more damage than ur warrior at 30 it's time to respec. Your warrior should have rage and stomp or a slash if u want damage. I also find 1h to be easier in groups that 2h. Anyway though enchantess peaks early on aoe damage.

Second off thanks to banned for the compliment... Though when I play with hurs on his goregrind heals are barely needed, the air debuffs are hardcore and let the warriors spec damage instead of scream are good...

That being said I'm grinding my bear, I want a level 30 of each class on alterra.

i was a level 26 bear before patch, and always playing the bear till i maxed it,
i loved warriors and no matter whether they patch it a not, i'll max it out 1st. :)

I think with only THREE classes - its almost impossible to just switch to OP class. Ive had all three classes from the beginning. I play each one about the same, with minor favor to my enchantress.
