Gorestomp robbed the Forgotten of their Phantom Slug tokens and all of their trade-friendly 'Forgotten' vanity items - forged from classic equipment. It is now up to the heroes of Arlor to recover these items and give justice to the Forgotten!

How to Play:

Enter the (energy free!) portal in town to visit the Forgotten Mine. Here, you will face hoards of Goblin mercenaries and, finally, Gorestomp himself.

Swig a Forgotten Vanity Farmer's Elixir (effect lasts for 10 minutes) to increase your token yields and vanity drops, add a chance to loot vanity auras, as well as the possibility to catch the rare gold goblin miniboss Zlaato.

Slaying Zlaato can grant you more Phanton Slug tokens, extra gold (between 100 and 1,000 base gold), and a chance to loot the the free-to-open Platinum Goblin Chest (which contains 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 50 and 100 Platinum, and Heroic Hammerjaw's Egg)!

Gold loot works on this boss. Highest gold possible from this guy would be your gold loot * his base gold payout. His maximum base gold payout is 1000 (minimum is 100).

And stop over exaggerating, the tabard and forbearer sets etc and LB exclusives won't return.

Forerunner set is literally a dope looking set being manipulated by a group of people and that's not the issue.

A good piece of equipment not being able to use in maps. So this is a good move forward considering the good looks of this set at any point of time.

The Forgotten have returned to Arlor! Unfortunately, on their way to see their beloved heroes, the Forgotten were ambushed by Gorestomp, an evil Orc and his Goblin mercenaries. Gorestomp robbed the Forgotten of their Phantom Slug tokens and all of their trade-friendly 'Forgotten' vanity items - forged from classic equipment. It is now up to the heroes of Arlor to recover these items and give justice to the Forgotten!

How to Play:

Enter the (energy free!) portal in town to visit the Forgotten Mine. Here, you will face hoards of Goblin mercenaries and, finally, Gorestomp himself.

Enemies and chests have a chance to drop Phantom Slug tokens that you can spend with The Forgotten on bound versions of the event vanities, or if you're lucky, loot trade-friendly versions from Gorestomp!

Swig a Forgotten Vanity Farmer's Elixir (effect lasts for 10 minutes) to increase your token yields and vanity drops, add a chance to loot vanity auras, as well as the possibility to catch the rare gold goblin miniboss Zlatto.

Slaying Zlatto can grant you more Phanton Slug tokens, AND extra gold (at least 1,000).

Something like that to balance the cost? I'd really love to see something like that implemented into this event and future events as well... I really love seeing some of these vanities again, it's been a while.

Forerunner isn't that rare and it was around 1-2 m when the other sets like brown/criers were the price of LB vanities even at that time. They know what they're bringing in.. So chill out and stop this kids play of posting every thought and feeling throughout the entire thread of grief.

They do not want to get their hands on expensive and valuable items, but it has happened. It is happening right now and will continue to happen. I don't make the rules nor would want to rule out the possibility.

They do not touch exclusive items, as you can see.

I used to have the same stance as these fellow collectors do. But the headline is that developers will make the necessary decisions to ensure that the game has adequate funding.

This is a really good event but there is one key thing that would be more helpful for the community, if you had just given us a list of the old collector items that won't ever be re released in any event I'm sure all collectors would be very happy since it's a big gamble having any collectibles and its also a bit confusing because I remember some specific people who I wont name from sts who said none of the old og collectibles would be re released in any way yet forerunner and demonlord are og collectibles... not trying to hate but I'm just a bit confused and so are alot of collectors who hoard collectibles. I know with these sets being released as vanitys the og versions are going to deflate by alot in value since there's a vanity version now which will make MANY collectors very upset which is why I've noticed soo many collectibles selling in auction for MUCH cheaper than usual and now I know why since I just saw this. Anyways if you all just made a list showing which collectibles won't be re released or just don't re release these OG sets like yall said in the first place then I think everyone would be happy (except for the mass who can't afford specific og collectibles due to the rarity).

Anyways just something to think about, also para aura is very interesting... will the aura stack with the para gem on an item? As in if u equip the para aura and a item with para gem will it make a new cool design or will it do nothing? I noticed when u equip multiple items with para on each item it looks the same as only having 1 para gem item so maybe if yall update the aura to be better and mix with the original para gem to where it makes a new rich design or just a way brighter / bigger effect it would be much better than how it would if u didn't change anything.


Anyways thanks for the time of reading this and these are just my opinions I'm not trying to be rude or say anything bad I just am saying my opinion on this matter hoping someone in the dev team will read it and take a minute to think about it or atleast read it.

STS been making the same mistake as OG arcane items like Maul of ollerus/BB hooks, when they making option to convert Maul into Vanities years ago, s making the OG arcane gears lvl16 price went up, higher than the vanities itself. Cuz the key thing is, arcane twinks lvl16 are rare in quantity by itself. Now maul van is 180m but i doubt you can hardly find Arcane Maul lvl16 clean for 200m-, collectors need collectibles gears, not vanities, just like Legendary Forerunners season 1 sets now.:grief:

The reason lv16 arcane weapons rose is because you can convert exisiting supply into vanities.

On the otherhand, no one would be buying legendary forerunner sets anymore when they can buy them as limited vanities where people can wear at any level, and on top of their gear.

Sorry but you appear to have misunderstood the first sentence in the pic you posted. I clearly state that discontinued vanity items are not coming back in this event. I go on to say that new vanity items would be made from old equipment. This statement was made because a lot of players asked for the return of rare, old and LB vanities and a clarification was necessary.

As for the suggestion to add recipes so that we maintain a 1:1 ratio of old equipment to new vanities - we're not doing that... because, again, it's not what this event is about

Most event feedback is that drop rates are way too low... so this is a response to my customer feedback.

We'll give it more than 30 minutes (probably several hours) and assess whether or not the drop rate really is too high.

+1, I knew it was a bad idea to make it multi-player, add a starting circle or a barrier, already people being selfish, I ask "Wait please", and they don't care,, what's the point of it being a fair event when not all of us arlorians can afford a max speed set and wait for other party members to clear minions. Since Forerunner came back, does that mean sometime in the future, Black Commando/Crier/Heraldics, tabord*, etc will come back at a future date as-well? Or are you just “testing the waters” so to speak.

I just have a concern that if it’s too cheap the vanities will loose their uniqueness and value , rest is your decision.

If you are using the term 'value' to describe how much a player will enjoy having a particular look for their Legend, I think you may be missing the entire point (no offense intended).
