We talked about this idea on Discord and we're unlikely to allow straight "Plat to Trade-Friendly Plat" stuff, we are looking at ways of allowing specific Platinum conversions. Right now the one method we have is the 'Crate Key,' but we are considering stuff that will expedite crafting timers (and other game mechanic stuff that has yet to be announced).
