Gamer Outfit Anyone?

Well I, like probably 90% of the population in DL has been looking for the Gamer set like maniacs. Does anybody have any insights on where it maybe dropping?

I am assuming that people who got the Gamer pieces aren't into forums. I have seen one L14 and she said she doesn't really know where she got it, though I doubt it. Seriously, how can you forget where you got a very precious and rare item? It's like, you've seen the pot of gold, but failed to remember that you followed the rainbow to it? Doesn't make sense. And so, no picture of it has ever been posted by a person who looted it. I just hope that when someone from here loots it, he/she may be kind enough to help us through posting the maps where he/she looted it. :)

Well they would need to be on the forums to grasp the fact that the gamer piece they just looted was actually rare. From a casual gamer's point of view the set doesn't look different to whatever items they can buy in the store and If I didn't know myself it was rare vanity I would hardly give a hoot.

Think what would you do if you knew english, knew about online games, knew that 2m is a lot of gold and many people asked you about your vanity, offering 2.5m for it, spamming trades to you and pms.
It is not hard to guess it is rare and priceless. About the location I totally agree with u

I agree with you at that point. But she could just pick it up and then after some maps check her inventory. Some new people do not know vanities are different than normal drops. Dunno though. We can never know unless she tells us :P

I honestly forget where i get my drops from sometimes. There isn't a map name on the bottom of the screen like PL or SL. And plus im new to the game so i haven't memorized the maps yet.

I believe Carapace said the 3 new vanities will drop from breakables or mobs in the maps not the Allied or Nightly Rewards systems.

She might honestly just not remember. It's hard to tell which dungeon you're in. When I get something good, I make a point of making a screenshot of the boss and minimap, just in case I'm not sure where I am.

We're all assuming she knew when it dropped that it was an item to take note of. A new player would not know that until it's too late.

Ummm if you read good what I said, I didn't state that people wouldn't get it. I'm saying that it's hot, that I WANT IT! And that it will be one of the most expensive one, why? Because I have gotten offers from other players telling me if I get it would I sell it. And they have given me amounts ranging from 200K-360K... But like you said people might start getting it and price offers can drop drastically. But since it is TOO RARE! I believe is the most expensive one out.
