possible bug with the stealth event

there is a quest called "Savage Severance" where you have to use Dr. Yzeth's security code in order yo access the rendering machine. The issue is that I can access the machine and it didn't trigger the response to complete the quest. This is my first time doing the event so it shouldn't be doing that. Either the quest is broken or I'm doing something wrong.

addendum: I completed both maps and went to the rendering machine. It still has a grey question mark.

Do you see the [Craft Items] option when using the Renderer?

Or do you only see the option to [Leave]?

Another issue is that Commander Ingram is nowhere to be found. He is needed to complete one of the quests. But given that the event ends sometime today, i guess it could be fixed next time.

Which quest? He doesn't look like he's related to this event to me.
